I miss the Tufts swim team already

Fuck, for that matter I miss the whole school. It’s been three days I’ve been at home…This is a sign that I picked the perfect college. It’s interesting to go from an environment where everyone is so intelligent and awesome to a place where people are, ah…well…yeah.

What do you do typically? I have done consistent circuits on weights before, but… I cannot seem to get the muscle toning I’d like. Any recommendations?
Hmmm first off each person’s body acts differently so my advice might not be 100% accurate, but I’ll give it a shot. In terms of toning there are three things you can do. 1. Really focus on full body cardio, such as swimming or jogging. Nothing speeds up your metabolism and helps with toning more than cardio. 2. If you lift weighs, instead of going for large weights and low reps, try to knock down the weight and up the number of reps, so you fatigue more slowly and have a chance to tighten the muscles you’re targeting. 3. Really try to eat healthy and drink lots and lots and lots of water.
If you want to build muscle then you go for the high weights and low reps, only do a little cardio. But if you want big toned muscles, focus on toning first, then go from there.
Hopefully that makes sense and helped a little. I’m no personal trainer, but that’s just what I follow and it seems to have worked so far. :)
